Robert Spitzer retracted his 2001 study claiming gays can change their orientation several weeks ago in print. Now he’s doing it on video.
He’s also taking steps to remove his work from anti-gay organizations’ websites.
“The people who are pushing the ex-gay idea are so full of hatred for homosexuality that I don’t think they can respond in an ethical way,” Spitzer said.
He’s also apologizing to all gays who might have been hurt by his study.
