Bristol Palin’s son Tripp called his aunt, Willow, a gay slur on the Palin family reality show “Life’s a Tripp.”
The problem I have with this clip is not Tripp’s language — he’s a toddler and repeats what others say around him. He knows “faggot” is an insult and he uses it properly in a sentence when he’s angry. Grammatically, that puts him ahead of his grandmother.
The problem is Bristol’s reaction. She finds it funny and laughs about it. That’s the kind of reaction that will only encourage the behavior. It’s only a matter of time before he repeats it.
